About Mrs. Flees

Hello...
I am very excited to be teaching here at Buckley for my thirteenth year. It is awesome to be teaching back at the school that I attended as a student.  I taught 8 years at a large school district in Grand Rapids and am glad to have finally been able to move back "home"! I graduated with a Teaching Degree from Cornerstone University and also have a masters degree in Middle School Science from Walden University and a  2nd masters in Biology.

I am happily married to my husband Scott and have two children Emma, Jake and his wife Mariel, and one grandbaby named Cullen. I also have 3 German Shorthair dogs, Otis, Molly, and Mabel.  I enjoy being in the outdoors! I love hiking, gardening, riding 4-wheelers, traveling, spending time with my family, and all things FLAMINGO. ​
